RISON - The Cleveland County Fair Association has announced the Cleveland County Rodeo set for Sept. 11-12 at the Fairgrounds featuring $4,550 in added money. This year's rodeo is presented by FBT Bank and Rison Pharmacy.The rodeo begins at 8 p.m. nightly with live music at 7 p.m.

Woodlawn invested $178,343.66 in the new equipment that features swings, swinging bars, slides, a rock wall and more all on top of a cushioned artificial surface.

Rogers Police Mourn Loss of Rison’s Marsh

RISON - Frederick Marsh, 24, a Rison native who recently became an officer for the Rogers Police Department, drowned Saturday evening, July 18, while trying to help another swimmer during a canoe trip along the Elk River in southwest Missouri, according to police reports.
