Rison To Begin Search For Coach in January

RISON - Superintendent Craig Dupuy said the Cleveland County School District will begin its search for a new football coach in earnest once the Christmas break is over. He said he hopes to have the position filled by February, if possible.

Herald Increasing Single Copy, Subscription Prices

The Cleveland County Herald will be increasing its annual subscription price for the first time in eight years beginning Jan. 1, 2023, publisher Britt Talent has announced. In addition, Talent said single copy prices of the Herald will be increasing to 75 cents per copy beginning Jan. 1, 2023.

Quorum Court Will Have Meeting Jan. 9

RISON - The Cleveland County Quorum Court has moved its January meeting to 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9, due to a conflict with the New Year's Day holiday. The meeting will be held at the Hall-Morgan Veterans Building rather than the courtroom inside the courthouse.
