Santa Headed To New Edinburg This Weekend

NEW EDINBURG - Santa Claus will be making his annual visit to the New Edinburg Community Center on Friday, Dec. 16 and Saturday, Dec. 17 from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. The Center is located at 6590 Hwy. 8 in New Edinburg. Come bring your kids to see Santa.

Old Memorial Ornaments Available in Kingsland

KINGSLAND - Kingsland Mayor Sharon Crosby has announced that all of the old lighted Christmas ornaments will be placed outside City Hall this week for people to pick up. Crosby explained the ornaments were purchased years ago in memory of individuals and placed on street poles.

RISON - Rison FFA members competed in the FFA Pine Tree Sub-Area Leadership Development Event Friday, Dec. 9. The annual contest is held at Drew Central High School. Eighteen Rison FFA members competed in various speaking events.
