RISON - Halloween night seems to be the perfect setting for the annual Rison-Fordyce clash as it has already been a very strange season for the Wildcats.The two teams are set to kick off their 74th meeting at 7 p.m. Friday night at George Walker Field of Champions.

Bears Hosting Marvell Friday; Eye Final Run for League Title

RISON - After getting a late season open date last week, the Woodlawn Bears will return to action this Friday when they host the Marvell Mustangs for homecoming at the Carl Jones Sports Complex. The junior high teams play at 5 p.m. followed by the varsity teams at 7 p.m.

RISON - The Rison Junior Wildcats used a dominant defense and explosive plays on offense and special teams to power past the Drew Central Junior Pirates, 46-14, last Thursday night at George Walker Field of Champions.Rison improved to 5-2 overall and 4-1 in 8-3A conference play with the victory.

WOODLAWN - Carson Young rushed for 206 yards and scored four touchdowns as the Woodlawn Junior Bears overwhelmed the Dermott Junior Rams, 50-6, last Friday afternoon at the Carl Jones Sports Complex.Woodlawn moved to 5-2 overall and 3-0 in South Conference play with the league victory.
