Two Rush For More Than 200 As Bears Run Past South Side

CONWAY - Woodlawn rushed for 480 yards on 33 carries to average more than 15 yards per carry as the Bears overwhelmed the South Side-Bee Branch Hornets, 66-38, last Thursday night at Hendrix College in Conway.

Young Paces Jr. Bears Past South Side, 28-18

CONWAY - Carson Young rushed for 148 yards with a touchdown and also caught a 20yard pass for another score to lead the Woodlawn Junior Bears to 28-18 win over the South Side-Bee Branch Junior Hornets at Hendrix College in Conway last Thursday.

Woodlawn Cross Country Teams Making Progress

The Woodlawn cross-country team is continuing to make strides this season, Coach Autumn Lem reported.She said the team recently competed in the Minuteman Day 2025 hosted by Pulaski Academy and sponsored by the Arkansas National Guard.

Cardinals Dominate Line of Scrimmage; Blank 'Cats 25-0

RISON - Going into last Thursday night's non-conference game against Class 4A Haskell Harmony Grove, Rison Coach Chris Vereen said what really concerned him most about the Cardinals was the fact they had just about every starter back on both sides of the ball.

Jr. Wildcats Open 8-3A Play Thursday

RISON - The Rison Junior Wildcats will open 8-3A conference play by hosting the Barton Junior Bears at 7 p.m. Thursday night, Sept. 18, at George Walker Field of Champions on the Rison campus.
