WOODWORKING AT THE PIONEER VILLAGE - Last week, the Cleveland County Extension Service hosted another wood workshop at Rison’s Pioneer Village. The Extension Agents would like to thank to Mr. Keith Gresham for instructing, and Billy and Marty Bowlin for helping. Thanks also to Pioneer Village for use of their facilities and to Hixson Lumber Company for donating the wood. Five students worked hard and had fun doing it. Private first class Marquis Yarnell of Rison (left) was recently promoted to Specialist, earning the rank of E4, in the Arkansas National Guard. He enjoys his military occupational service of carpentry and masonry as part of a support unit at Fort Chaffey.
